Alkimia residents enjoy residing in ocean-front cabins embraced by native bush. They have shared facilities (kitchens/toilets), and can use the common house to connect with the community or offer/attend classes.
Residents are not required to be contribute towards the goals & projects in Alkimia (except teaching), but they can still choose to be involved in whatever inspires them (e.g. gardens, creating a sauna, or whatever else).
RESIDENTIAL ACCOMODATION FOR 1 PERSON
Accommodation for teachers who are at a stage of their life where they have been embodying and sharing their sacred knowledge/dharma/spiritual traditions with the world for a while (whatever they may be, e.g. Buddhism, Shamanism, Yoga, Māori traditions, Gnosticism, or whatever else), and now want to take it to the next level and be immersed in an environment where others have the same focus, so that everyone is sharing and learning in the community.
Includes electricity, water, gas, internet, cleaning, weekly classes, beautiful events, opportunity to teach/practice, ocean views, nature immersion, and lots of love.
Cabins are unfurnished, so that residents can design them just as they like.
2 people = +$75/week.
There are very few exceptions as to why we would accept non-teachers for accommodation. But when we do, the rent has the non-reduced value ($275/week).
As a volunteer in Alkimia you have the opportunity to work on tasks that meet your values and projects that inspire you and that contribute towards a higher purpose. This could be anything from renovations, cleaning, arts & crafts, outdoor projects, sustainability, etc. Check out our photos below!
Volunteers are offered free accommodation, beautiful land, lots of love, access to the existing classes & events, and in the future, occasional free meals, when there is enough food from the gardens to create shared dinners.
